In order to Disable the third-party extension on Chrome:
1. Enter Chrome's settings [top right of browser] and select 'Tools'. Then click on 'Extensions'.
2. Under the Extensions column, locate the name on the unwished extension and unmark the small checkbox to the right side of it.
3. It's disabled!
In order to Remove third-party extension from Chrome:
1. Enter Chrome's settings [top right of browser] and select 'Tools'. Then click on 'Extensions'.
2. Under the Extensions column, locate the name of the unwished extension and click on the small trash bin to the right side of it.
3. It's removed!

If you still choose to remove Maxiget Manager, there are appropriate links below to help you do this.

1. Close and exit Maxiget Manager completely.
2. Go to: 'Start > Control Panel' and double click on 'Add or Remove Programs'. You will see a window with a list of the programs installed on your computer.
3. Find the application "Maxiget", "Maxiget Download Manager" or "Maxiget Software Manager"; highlight it by clicking on it, and then click on the 'Uninstall' button (or 'Remove' in Windows XP).
1. Click "Start" and find "Control Panel".
2. Click on "Programs" and find a program or an application you are willing to uninstall from your computer (e.g. "Maxiget", "Maxiget Download Manager" or "Maxiget Software Manager")
3. Right-click the program and click "Uninstall". This will run the software's uninstall process
4. Confirm uninstall for the appropriate software
5. Close the Uninstall or change a program window when you are finished
6. The program is successfully uninstalled
Usually you can uninstall the toolbar through standard 'Add or Remove Programs' utility.
